This year Carrie graduated from college- I am very proud of her. She is not sure what she wants to do next, other than try her hand at some writing. She is working at Target down in Olympia and is enjoying the lack of homework...
Kira is working on her last couple of credits to complete high school, planning to go to community college from there- mulling over several career paths. Her serious boyfriend, John, is supportive of whatever she decides to do- that is good. I am so proud of her strength this last year.
This last summer I moved north to live with Jay in Mount Vernon. We are working on remodeling the house and getting the yard and garden to be what we have in mind... a long-term task.
This has been a year of good things, and some settling down. Thank you to everyone who wished me and my family well.
