As I've recently mentioned, there are still a number of flowers blooming in the yard. Today I photographed some in the front yard, thinking I could do the same next year to see what's the same and what's different. The weather here has been mild, and has included a lot of rain these last few days. When I was a child in Michigan we regularly had a lot more snow in the winter than they typically have these days. It was unusual to have snow by my birthday, but I do remember one birthday that coincided with the first snow. Can't get much more exciting than that. So, on with the naturalist's photographic recordings: |
