Mary Bradley Calls the Boss

Mary, my work partner and friend, is tickled pink because she will be retiring at the end of the year. She can be a pistol (different people will read different things into this statement) and at times is in the "short-timer" mode and at other times is in the "we have to get lots of work done- QUICK" mode.

Sometimes when we are out doing an inspection we need to call in to our boss to advise her of unusual things. This part of our job is fraught with all kinds of issues for Mary and, therefore, for me. Watching her face and gestures recently while she was on the phone, I felt I needed to photograph her expressiveness for posterity. I missed the best shot, but here is what I got:

She doesn't let on, but I can tell Mary is pleased.
